Delete your account

You can delete your Nanashort account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from the app
This is the fastest way and it takes effect immediately:
- Open the NanaShort app on iOS or Android.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when you are asked to. Your account is closed and you are signed out.
Request deletion by email
If you signed in on the website, or you cannot reach the app — for example you have uninstalled it or lost access to your device — send an email to support@nanashort.com from the address registered on the account, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm your identity, delete the account and reply within 30 days.
Cancel your subscription first
Cancel any active subscription before you delete the account, or it keeps renewing. Where you cancel depends on where you bought it: a subscription bought in the app is billed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled in that store — on iOS in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions, on Android in Play Store → Payments and subscriptions. A subscription bought on nanashort.com is cancelled by writing to support@nanashort.com.
What is deleted
When the deletion completes we remove:
- your profile — your name and email address, and the Google or Apple identifier your sign-in is linked to;
- your password, if you created one in the mobile app;
- your watch history and playback progress;
- your My List saved series;
- your remaining coin balance, which has no cash value and is not refunded;
- your device identifiers and language preference.
What we have to keep
Two things survive the deletion because the law requires it: invoices and payment records, which tax legislation obliges us to retain for up to 10 years, and security logs, which we keep for up to 12 months before they expire. Both are held separately from your profile and are not used to identify you as a customer any more.
Timing
Your access ends immediately. The data listed above is removed or anonymised from our live systems and backups within 30 days.
